Amazon Will Work With MSME to Enhance Production in India: Narayan Rane

Amazon has launched a scheme under the governing of India named is One District One Product (ODOP).
The Company has opened a store of ODOP in collaboration with invest India and IIA.

Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has made a deal with the giant e-Commerce platform Amazon to enhance the production in India. This will provide quality products at a cheap, affordable price.
The Minister of MSME Narayan Rane reveals the information while he was launching the ODOP Bazar on the Amazon Platform.
He Said “Amazon and MSME will tread together. We both will move towards progress, enhance our products, and supply good products to the people,” uttered Narayan Rane.
He also told in his speech that Amazon has worked amazingly to boost the Indian Economy and also enhanced production which made India more self-reliant.
The ODOP Bazar will provide the customer’s access to regional pages and to know more about the ODOP product from various districts all across India. This will make the purchaser with more options with the best quality.
Amazon said it will provide a variety of unique and best quality products on its platforms such as chikankari from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Dhokra metal craft from Bastar, Chhattisgarh, Coffee from Chikmanguluru, Karnataka, Shambhalpuri that from Shambbhalpuri, Odisha, Muga Silk from Assam, and warli Paintings from Sahyadri, Maharashtra.
The initiation has been taken by the platform is to enhance the use of local products which will be the enhancement of local businesses and on the contribution of Indian Economy.
The ODOP stores opened by Amazon platform with the collaboration with Invest India and IIA (Indian Industries Association) to support the ODOP initiative of the government of India that provides the Handlooms, handicrafts products, and agricultural products created by local peoples, farmers, and artisans. The step will promote the opportunity to show your skills and promote your local market in the national distinction.

“We remain committed to our pledge of digitizing 10 million MSME by 2025 and contribute to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat,” the manager of India Manish Tiwari has stated.
